Last Saturday, my old colleague visited my newly built house. He invited me for a dinner and wants my entire family to be there, so I called up my wife and bring along our kids. In the restaurant, I ordered soup, and some seafood’s. After a few minutes, the waiter came to our table bringing our orders and accidentally step on my foot and he fell on the ground, he spill all our orders, then the manager scolded him in front of us and told the waiter that he should pay for everything. But my friend had a good heart, he talked to the manager and shouldered everything, after all, it was an accident. As we about to go out, the waiter thanked him and said “Thank you very much sir, you really saved my day… God bless you always.”

July 25, 2009 Saturday, my niece Lairna Kyth came to our house early in the morning to borrow my wife’s necklace and earrings for there school will celebrate its annual “INTRAMURAL’S”. She happens to be the Seniors Representative, she wants to look good, beautiful and sexy for the event. Early morning, a friend of mine came to our house. She told me that she’ll be transferring to Manila with her fiancé and stay there for good, she needs a maid with her because she is pregnant and needs someone to help her in some house activities. So we’re planning to go to our province and look for one, but when we are about to leave, a young lady knocked in our door and asked if we need a maid? So I let her in and start to interview her, ask her credentials. Then she showed me her barangay and police clearance. After checking everything my friend then called me “ MR. SAVIOUR”.

Last weekend, while watching TV, a friend of mine, Junas came to our house and talks about colon cleanse review. Mother’s diamond earrings

Yesterday was my grand father’s birthday; most of our relatives are present in the old house. My mother was assigned to cook the menu, but when she washed her hand in the kitchen sink her diamond earrings accidentally fell in it, thank God that one of my cousin was a plumber he unscrew the trap and recover the earring. Then she kept it in her bag, start cooking and made a delicious meal for everybody.

Last night, I visited my uncle’s house. It really amazed me when I saw his collection of pet beds and some luxurious dog couches. He then told me that lots of them are orthopedic beds, I can’t believe he spent that much just for his dogs, I thought it cost so much but when he told me about the price and a free delivery for every order I realize that it’s worth it.

Holiday on a rest house with my family

Last Christmas 2008 was one of the most unforgettable Christmas of my life. My entire family spend it in a rest house of my sister, it is located at the south part and it’s 101 km away from the city. I really love the place because the behind the house is breath taking view of the mountains and beneath is the white sand of the beach. And at night time the small houses of the mountain looks like fire flies.
 Then on Christmas eve, as I prepared our noche buena (midnight meal)  the entire mountain were full of  fire works, in fact I wasn’t able to light the fire works that I bought because I really enjoyed watching the colors and shapes of it. And on new years day, the same thing happened we just watched, eat and chat. Maybe next year or every year we will spend all the holidays in that the same house…

Family Reunion Last Summer

We were having a family reunion last summer in a province where there is a place called “PARIL MOUNTAIN RESORT” it is really a cool place, you could relax with your family, enjoy their amenities, and the spectacular view of the entire province because it is located at the very top of the highest mountain of the particular province. The kids really enjoyed the pool and it’s man made water falls.On our way home, I was the one who drove our rented van because the company driver was really drunk he couldn’t hardly stand, and almost everybody is complaining the way he drives. And in the middle of nowhere I found no houses, no buildings only trees and lamp posts were there, then suddenly I heard a big bang behind us, when I make glance, it was our tire, so I stopped. The road was quite dark because it’s past 7 pm and few vehicles pass by, when I checked my cellphone I can’t find any signal, so what I did, I opened the baggage and pulled the tire then starts to walk to find some vulcanizing, but it took me 1 and a half hour to find one.

So I knocked the door and said “HELLO ANYBODY HOME…?”, but no one answered, I just sat and wait for someone to rescue me from the agony that I’ve experienced the whole night. For about 30 minutes, a guy approached and help me with my tire, I really appreciate his kindness,so we walked together back to the van and fix the tire.As I about to return the tools, I noticed behind the van that there is a large cloth covering something, so I checked and lift the cloth, I was really shocked of what I’ve seen because a spare tire was under it, I just laughed and said… “WHAT A WONDERFUL DAY…”

Fire near in our house

Until now, I could still picture the burning houses in our barangay, though it was five years ago as if it just happened yesterday. November 13, 2003 at 11:00 in the morning,  I was watching my favorite noon time show I hurriedly get out of our house, then I saw a huge fire outside, it’s just about five houses away from our house so I ran for help but the fire was already all over the upper part of the house for it was a two story house but I couldn’t bear the heat of the fire so I pour a pail of water all over my body so I could go inside the house because I heard a voice of a child shouting help… help… help!

The fire was really, really, really hot as if I was being roasted but I didn’t care of the heat I pour again a pail of water all over my body and start crawling inside the house for the fire was on the ceiling, the entire place was very smoky but then I saw the little child hugging the fence of the stairs, so I grab her and start crawling going outside, thank God I saved the two year old child but unluckily one old guy( my Godfather) wasn’t able to get out of the house for he was drunk at the same time, but I’m still thankful because I saved someone.  The little girl   is already at grade two right now every time we see each other she’ll kissed me and hug me. I couldn’t forget that girl until the day I die

"RENDEZVOUS"

A place where I could recall my past and refresh my mind is located 100 meters away from my house, facing the ocean where I could smell the breeze, hear the waves, feel the heat of the sun and the coldness of the night watching big full moon and wishing that someday I could fulfill not all but one of my dreams before leave this very wonderful place called “EARTH”. Almost everyday I visit this particular place, and I call this place “LAGKAW” meaning rendezvous….. Everyday and every night different kind of people are hanging out and meet at this very place. Until now the “LAGKAW” is still new to me because everyday I see new faces and make new friends.
