My Boss acted Wierd
July 28, 2010My boss asked some favor to all the employees. He is planning to have our shift change from mornin to graveyard; we really don’t have any idea why he comes up to that kind of plan. Because of my eagerness to know, I raised my hand and asked why? He then explained that he is planning to make our office a call center, and he wants all his employees to become a call center agents. He really acted weird on these past few weeks. Hopefully tomorrow, he will change his mind because we made some letters addressed to the Board of Directors and CEO’s.

My boss told us that he has no regret having it, for his RV was stolen, even he is not the original owner, the insurance replaced him a comparable new one, he is also being offered that he will receive a full original purchase price - not depreciated. Then it helps cover food, travel and lodging if you have a covered claim away from home (provided at no added cost). He really encourage us his employees to purchase one for it is a money worth.
From Centralized to individual Tip
August 5, 2009I used to work in a restaurant who’s tip I centralized. The restaurant is operating for about 35 years, one day the owner manager called an emergency meeting for all the employees, old and new. It is because we’re gonna cater some local and international businessmen. He delivered a rehearsed motivational speech in which he emphasized “team work” and encouraged us all to work together. “Now remember” he concluded, “There is no ‘I’ in ‘team’.” One of the veterans spoken up. “Yeah,” he said, “but there’s no ‘We’ in ‘Tip’.”
The advantage of planning
July 28, 2009For me, moving tips are very useful when planning to move, it also lessen your stress. I remember when our company was transferring into a new location. All the employees are in panic, because they don’t know what to do and where to start, our manager, Mary scheduled a short meeting and instructed everybody to calm down and gather some boxes for the things we need to bring. It really pays plan everything you do and say.
